Artist Susie J Lee: Time Based Works, New Media Technologies and Digital Media Sculpture http://www.susiejlee.com Announcements regarding contemporary new media installations Copyright 2009 Sat, 20 Jan 2007 17:05:01 -0800 Susie J Lee is awarded $35000 permanent public arts commission from Lake Washington School District Susie Lee, digital media artist from Seattle WA, will be working with Mahlum Architects to install a permanent, interactive public arts project at Finn Hill Junior HIgh School in Kirkland WA in the spring of 2010. The work will combine environmental, electrical, and resource data of the school with sculptural forms such that the "health" of the pieces directly correlates with the consumption of resources. The connection betwen consumption and public work is visually manifest and will encourage a collaborative type of interactivity among students and staff.
